Well THAT sucks. Do you mind me attending?
No, not at all.  You're absolutely welcome to join us, I'm sorry if I gave the impression otherwise.

No no I just wanted to be sure, I'm basically a newbie when it comes to rocks.. (And abit afraid of heights-Hoping this trip will get me over that) so didn't wanna slow anyone down! Main reason why I'm going is never been to Moab, never been with a group, so wanted to learn all I can from ya'll! Very Happy

My wife doesn't exactly like rocks so she'll be there for you to vent to about us crazies. Anyone and everyone is always welcome to wheel with us despite capabilities or experience as long as they are respectful. And for the record since you registered on the forum you're stuck with us now. Very Happy Laughing

What Brad said is dead on.  Anyone is welcome to wheel with us regardless of skill level, and we promise we won't let you break your truck or get in over your head unless that's what you really want. Smile

So are we still on for said dates? I already have that time off plus my folks are coming from north Dikota to wheel his new to him (my old) 90 runner. And they have said days off as well.

Really I'm the only one that would probably benefit from a date change!

Bill (FootofGod) from T4R.org is going to make it after all.  He's between 4Runners, he'll have a virtually stock 88 Sami.  Paul (Quatre Courer) is also going to be there, he's getting a hotel so won't be camping with us.  We've got enough heads that I'm going to try to reserve the group site at Moab Rim unless anyone objects.  Wolf Girl, are you camping with us or were you serious about getting a hotel?

I count 15 heads total - 10 trucks.

Is it this one?

http://www.moab-utah.com/moabrim/

It offers a few options with campsites, RV sites, and cabins. That should accommodate most peoples needs.

Sounds like we're going to have quite a few stock vehicles. Should we reconsider our "opening" trail for Thursday morning?

Here's the info on Sevenmile Rim: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=22
