Yes, I do. They would do fine on most of the trail but there are 3 or 4 rock ledges that have to be climbed. With the last couple of ledges having a cliff on one side it wouldn't be very easy to winch them up. It's all about traction. We had a JK Rubi on 33's with us one year and it scraped a bit, but with the lockers, it made it up the ledges no problem.

If you have the Charles Wells book, we just might have to stick to the Blue, "moderate" trails. Maybe Saturday we can split up and the more capable rigs can head out for a more difficult trail.

I agree with Andrew. The stockers el probably want to stick to the blue moderate trails. Strike Ravine for the most part could be done BUT like anew said said about Kanes Creek there are spots where they are really going to struggle. There is on Hill called big ugly right at the start that would be a bitch in a rig without a lift. In all honest I don't know if I would take Bradys rig on it. I went in with 4 nice Fender flare came out with 2 and some pretty good rocker dings and I had a 3.5 inch lift.

Well, I like your plan then. Lets do Sevenmile first and see where everybody's at.

Kevin did you find out about the camp ground on how they feel about trailers in the group site? I ask because my pops is bringing a toy hauler and I just acquired a tent trailer for extremely cheap.

I haven't spoken to them yet.  I was going to try and sneak my little popup into the group tent site, but the one you just bought looks too much like a tent trailer and I'm guessing they'll want you to put it in a trailer spot and charge you accordingly.

$9 per person. I'm down with that. and there's shopping nearby I bet. I'll just sleep in my spacious trunk. can't do that in a topless 4runner. well I guess you could...

I'm sure I'll have to stick to the moderate trails. Going to order a 3.5" lift but I'll be on 235/70r16's because I can't swing new tires. Will see if I can maybe get a CB before the trip too. Sliders will probably be a pain unless I remove the side skirts but I'm nervous about what's down there.

oh and I'll either leave after work Wednesday night or come in early Thursday.

Mike, I have another set of 255/85 KM2s sitting around that I'm saving for another project. You're welcome to borrow them for this trip.

I may take you up on that, but they also still may not fit.

If you put a 3.5" lift on then they will fit. I ran 285s on mine with 3.5 and they fit great. 255s are the same height just narrower.

Well, get your lift on and then come try them out.  You can mount them for free, right?

We have reservations for one of the group campsites at Moab Rim from 4/23 to 4/26.  It's going to be roughly $36 each, assuming that there's at least ten of us (please don't send me money now, let's settle up on site).  There's showers and laundry, grass for tents, a sheltered picnic table, bbq pits, and lots of parking, although if we have enough rigs a couple of us may have to stash our trucks in the overflow parking.  There's power available too, for a fee.

If you are bringing a pet, there's an extra charge that'll be between you and the campground.  If you're bringing an RV or camp trailer that requires dock and sewer hookups or is larger than a very small car, you'll need to make your own reservation for that.

Please see the camp details and rules at their website, Moab Utah Cabins and Campground, tent sites, RV spaces.  I've given them my credit card for a first nights deposit, so lets iron out anything that might be trouble beforehand so there's no surprises please.  Smile

As long as everything works out with my work schedule I'll likely have my did with me, just as a heads up. And I'll only be there three of the days but we'll settle up, no worries Laughing Twisted Evil

So I MIGHT have some good news. After some recent events there is about a 50% chance that I can make this trip. As of right now it all depends on whether or not Britt wants me to leave her and the 1.5 month old baby.
