Or just reserve a spot at one of the RV campsites in town...

Hey guys! Man, its been a freaking long time since I have been on here. I need to catch up on what everyone's been doing. I will probably be spending the next few days reading through whats been happening.
Hopefully my lack of participation over that last year or two (has it really been two years?!?) doesn't exclude me from being able to join up with you guys down south for the Quarter Run. I should be able to make this one. I would be leaving later Friday after work.

I think we'll be at Prostitute Butte or Area BFE, still undecided though.

Does anyone have GPS coordinates for those areas? I'm not very familiar with the locations.

Edit: Area BFE: N 38°24.209′ W109°24.486′ or N38° 24′ 12.54″ W109° 24′ 29.16″

Area BFE isn't bad and has fun spots to play and watch Brassy test out het beest. Also I have no clue where prostitue butte is but the night life sounds interesting drunken

Area BFE: 38.403816, -109.407837
Prostitute Butte: 38.435134, -109.503804

PB is definitely the better spot of the two. There are several camp spots around the base, some of them tucked into alcoves, it's super pretty. But it was discovered a long time ago, and getting a site is kinda hit or miss. Area BFE will always have somewhere to camp, but it's very dusty and most of the time pretty trashed out. If those are our choices, I vote we try for PB and if that falls through use Area BFE as the fallback.

Who the hell is this "Vitruvius" guy? Do we know him?

I think we're pretty set on PB for base camp, unless it's too crowded. I'd be in for a combined meal or 2, I also might want to hit Moab Brewery while we're there. I'm planning on bringing a few bundles of wood. Kevin and I will be headed down sometime that Thursday in the early-mid afternoon.

I'm always game for a Moab Brewery trip, I will stuff as much wood as I can after gear is packed, which will probably be 3-4 bundles. I'm in my basically bone stock DC Taco so i'm game for trails thats not going to ruin my junk. That being said if people wanted to do something hard I am more than happy to entertain myself for the day. I'm in for combined meals just need to know what to pick up. I'm going to be bringing a bunch of mountain house for contingency meals. Also bringing my big skillet to cook breakfast stuff in.

Good question. We're probably too big a group to play it by ear. Who is showing up when, and what trails do you wanna do?

I'd really like to check out Top Of The World. Other than that I'm easy, though I'm with Josh and will be passing on anything with a real risk of body damage to the Wiferunner. If you guys want to hit a harder trail that's cool, we'll go find something else to do.

You guys shouldn't have much trouble on Kane Creek if it stays dry. If it's raining hard, I'll be staying away as well. I'll have a couple seats open if we decide to hit a more difficult trail.
