If I have a truck. It's making bearing noises again in the rear, I'm about to go jack it up and see WTF. If I find diff trouble again I'm gonna drive this jalopy off a cliff.

Wondering if diff whine just comes standard with these. Mine also has a whine with 100k less miles. Good news is my posi noise has almost completely stopped, if I drove it more i'm sure more friction modifier would be worked in.

Wish I could join i'm so over school right now, but i'm on my final push. Hoping to have my instructor rating finished by end of November.

This isn't gear whine, this is crunchy and clicky. Pretty sure it's a wheel bearing or something loose in the brake assembly, but I don't see anything wrong with an external inspection so I'm going to have to take the brakes apart and maybe pull the axle to find it.

Didn't find any trouble. I thought maybe it was in the ebrake drum, so I took off all the ebrake stuff on that side and is still did it. So I pulled the shaft and poked around in the diff, nothing loose or sloppy, and I checked out the caliper, all good there... put it back together and now it's not doing it.

I think I'm going to start leaving the keys in it at night.

I had a buddy the targets with an AR-10 (.308) yesterday, made a louder ring but no additional damage.

Do you have .300 AAC rounds?
