Let's do mine as long as you can bring your floor jack and maybe an extra set of jack stands. I think I have pretty much everything else we'll need.dutchman wrote:Your driveway or mine on Saturday?

Can do. I'll have my daughter in tow, just a heads up.

That's totally fine. I'm sure my little one would love a friend to play with.

Re: Brad's old '97 4Runner, Now Brady's
I completely forgot that you moved to Layton. This will make it harder for me to do evenings before work One question, have you thought at all about an extended panhard bar for the rear end? One thing that happens when you lift it is the panhard bar will pull your axle a little to one side. It is not a huge deal it just drove me crazy to have my tires stick out more on one side than the other!! If you do want to do something you have a couple options. Toytec and Sonora steel both sell adjustable ones. I think they run right close to $200, OR I have then one I built for my runner that I wold be willing to sell you for a whole lot less than that. Don't feel like I'm pressuring you, but if you are interested PM me and we can work out a price. It has just been sitting in my garage collecting dust!

I didn't add any adjustment to my panhard bar and it hasn't bothered me. Personal preference, like the diff drop.
What time do you want to start on Saturday?

I think it ended up being 2.5"-3" in the back. Not as high as yours.

Yah I think the lc cold put it a little higher. I was just giving him an option if he wants it. If not I will list it on t4r.org

I might steal it from you. Gimme a few weeks to see how she does.
Brady, I can start whenever. Although now the weather says it might be raining....

I'll just plan on being at your place around 9. Weather pending of course, unless you can use the garage.

Even if my garage wasn't full of boxes, I don't think the runner would fit out of the garage if we lifted it inside.

It should. Mine will fit in my garage even when jacked/ on stands.

We got the front finished. Still need to finish the rear. I'm not a big picture taker so I didn't get any shots, and I didn't see Brad take any.

That's unacceptable. Taking pictures is, like, the second most important thing he does. Besides carry his trauma kit around, I mean. If he's not going to take pictures, we might as well kick him out right now.

Re: Brad's old '97 4Runner, Now Brady's
All right all right. Yes we finished except my brakes are still being a pain and need to be bled again. Also one of the front sway bar links is jacked and I'll need a new one. Anybody have some laying around? Okay pictures....
The absolute easiest way of lifting a truck to unload suspension? Forklift.
Back on all four tires on her own weight.
And a few little poser flex shots on the loading ramp at the shop.

Sorry but I couldn't get the pics sized right on my phone, so just click the picture if you can't see the whole thing and look at it in photo bucket.
