Trip report forum is kinda dead, huh?  You guys need to get out more.

Brady Ron and I hit the desert Saturday for some gallivanting.  We struck out at Topaz Mtn (I think we were in the wrong place), but hit paydirt at the Black Boy mine complex in the Drum Mountains.  Then we broke out Brady's iron shooting stand and shot the crap out of it.  Then we came home.  Good times.

BTW: You need to get that son of yours a decent rifle. I think he's got some talent!

Yeah, that was impressive wasn't it? Kinda thinking a .22-250 or .25-06 for him now, but we'll see.
