Re: Future planning
I'm with Brady. If there is mud involved I m ay sit on the sidelines. Especially since the hogups last year. I've still got that shitty clay/mud falling off the dang thing.

Re: Future planning
That was exactly my point - I'm all about wheeling if there's a dry trail, but I don't wanna go trekking through slop on purpose. It's bad for the trail and a PITA to clean off the truck.
What dates is everybody free? I have the weekends of the 16th and the 30th, and the morning of the 23rd.

Re: Future planning
I could do the 30th also. I have something in the morning that day but should be free in the afternoon. Where are you all thinking?
Re: Future planning
I like the 30th. When and where?

Re: Future planning
We need to get back into at least some semi-regular club runs. What do you guys think about camping/wheeling above Logan in August?
Re: Future planning
I'm heading up Scofield reservoir the second or third weekend in august if Anyone is interested in making that a club camping fishing trip. I'm still out of the wheeling scene but I would like to do something.

Re: Future planning
I say we put together a list of camping/fishing/wheeling spots we want to hit this summer. I'd like to add Echo Lake, Murdock Basin. Not sure if there is much wheeling up there but should be a great spot to escape the heat.

You mean like this? https://desertrunnerst4r.forumotion.com/t103-what-s-on-your-hit-list . You'll want high clearance for Murdoch Basin, but it's mostly just a really rough road. Lots of baby heads.
I'm down for camping/fishing the weekend of the 17th or 31st.
Re: Future planning
I'm in for camping/fishing for sure. I also need to get the fishing groove back. If we do Scofield, my parents have 7-8 private acres pretty close to the reservoir that we could camp on and use pretty much however we want anytime we want.

Re: Future planning
We need a club run. I'm thinking an overnighter up in Mirror Lake National Forest Aug 3-4th, does that work for anybody else?
Ty, there's nothing up there my bone stock Explorer couldn't handle, your F150 would be fine.

I will look into it. My idler arm went out on my F-150 so I'm even more hesitant now!

Re: Future planning
For August I vote we do the 15-17th. I would be down for even trying to do a two or three night trip depending on what everyone else would be up for.

Re: Future planning
I'm tied up for the next 3 weekends (RME QTD this weekend) but after that I'm pretty open. I'll be gone the weekend of the 9th of August - that's about it for now.
