Re: Cool finds thread
Nate's right, that's a CBI Hybrid with a couple of the lines changed. I think I like the CBI better? It looks cleaner to me.
Re: Cool finds thread
Both pretty cool to me! I kinda like how the Savage is tucked in a little more leaving the winch box out a little. Just gives it a little different look. I do like how the CBI is more plate though. I can't afford either and for my 4runner I am just going to go for functional more than perty. I will probably just end up fabbing something simple, like I did with the rear.

That would have been pretty bad ass!! But then I would have been on the hunt for a front axle.

Re: Cool finds thread
I'd change the wheels, but other than that it's a sweet 4th.

Not true! My Tundra is IFS, and always will be. Oh, and the RZR is technically IFS as well...

Touché....But the RZR doesn't count since you drive snakes at 50mph

Dang, I was hoping you'd throw some Rockwell 2.5 tons under the Tundra!

Re: Cool finds thread
Rockwells schmockwells, there's a group buy on portals on RME. The Tundra needs front and rear steer planetary axles.
Re: Cool finds thread
What am I saying, screw that Tundra. My F150 needs portals more.
It'll be an F-mog.

Solid axles are soooooo old school. Now that I've had the RZR, I'm a big believer in long travel suspension. Not only can I still crawl over all the big rocks, but I can also drive 40+ MPH across rough roads and still feel like I'm riding in a Cadillac. While Kevin fights his fight, I'm struggling with my own battle to not supercharge the Tundra and throw some long travel front suspension on. It would be horrible to have 14+ inches of travel sitting on coil overs... :affraid:
