Great looks like we have a guide! I've always enjoyed rocky dugway over on the other side of the Hill from you.

Where in Magna? I'm just off 3500 South.

Don't worry about doing things to your truck yet, lets go get it dirty first. Smile

Welcome!

So how many are from north of the point of the mountain and how many are south? We still have numbers down here right?

Post by smkd13 Thu Feb 28, 2013 12:22 am

My name is Benjamin FitzSimon. I live in Provo and work for NPEC which does the phone support for Titan and Stryke Alarm. I spent the summer for the last 4 years in the "Bible Belt" installing home security system. My hobbies are working on trucks, snowboarding, longboarding, mountain biking (when i can afford one again), long walks on the beach, long candle lit bubble baths, etc. You get the picture. lol

(sorry i am affected by chronic sarcasm and apparently it is a dangerous and deadly incurable disease. lol)

Hey everyone, I was led here from T4R. org by some of the guys. So a little about me....My name is Brad and I'm married with a little girl. I live in Lehi right now and I work as a firefighter/paramedic. I love to do anything outdoors and really need to go get out more. I'm not necessarily new to wheeling Toyotas as i previously had an 04 Taco that i took anywhere it would go (which was most places). Since my daughters car seat wouldn't fit on the small jump seats, it was sold and I finally convinced my wife to let me get another toy to play with Very Happy It's a black '97 Limited with some work already done to it that will be our family camping/expedition vehicle. Hopefully I can find a time with my work schedule to make it on some of these trail runs you guys plan. I look forward to having a great time with an actual Utah wheeling group.

Good to see you over here, offroad_medic (can I call you OM? Smile ). We didn't get very much snow wheeling in this winter because several of us were between rigs or repairing broken trucks. Stay tuned for runs soon though, we've all got cabin fever. And if you or anybody else decides to have an adventure and want some company, post up!

I've been looking through some books and maps lately to try and plan a southern yeah Utah trip down to Arches, Moab, Fisher Towers area for sometime this summer. My wife is convinced we are going to Yellowstone again this summer though, so I guess we'll see. If anyone would want to caravan along then let's figure it out.

A meet and greet is absolutely in the works, we're already talking about it. We are kinda waiting for a couple rigs to get done (TY!), and maybe that'll give the local trails time to dry out a little too.

We'll be waiting a while for Ty to get his 4runner finish, but I have reason to believe that he has access to several other vehicles capable of running the trails that we run. After what I saw on Saturday, he has no excuses anymore.

I can vouch for that! Ty has access to some pretty sweet rigs! I even think he needs to drive one of them that's being stored for two years while his cousin is on a mission, its not good to just let it sit there... But it sounds like his runner will be out of commission for a very long time.

Post by Ty Fri Mar 08, 2013 1:06 am

Quick disclaimer!! There is a difference between access and EASY ACCESS! I do have the vehicles available, BUT they are 2 hours away. As for the one that is in storage, if I were to ask I'm sure I could take it, but one of the reasons off roading is my favorite hobby is I can do it with my family. That truck only has 2 seats and with a guy my size the driver seat is super uncomfortable.

When we get some runs planned I will see what I can do about getting a rig. Maybe if we invite Shay again he will haul one down for me.

Shay or any of your family have a permanent invite as far as I'm concerned.

If they've got all those rigs sitting around, you oughta just ask your Dad if you can borrow one while your 4Runner is down.

Or drive your Ford. It'll go most places, and it'd be a good chance for you to learn how to wheel without breaking shit. Very Happy

What's the delay on your SAS?
