Re: Classics go to Moab III
Welcome BigFish!
This is going to be the best Moab trip, ever.
I am waiting to hear back from my BIL to see when exactly he'll be there and if he'll have his boys or not. There is a place that sells some nice firewood just down the street from me so I'll grab a Face Cord and throw it in the back of the truck. Probably wouldn't hurt if others brought a bit as well.
A little update, Kallin won't be coming with me for this trip.

Just heard from my BIL - he is in Moab right now with the family. His wife is taking the kids home tonight and returning Thursday evening by herself. They have already rented a cabin at the same place we'll be at so we don't need to count them for our group camp site.

A cabin? What a city boy.
Um, yeah. That's the place, really it is. Honest. We'll totally meet you there. :shifty eyes:

Re: Classics go to Moab III
I bought one this morning. I'm not even going to try to install it though, because if I did that then I'd have to kidnap Mike and make him come over and finish the splicing tomorrow and then he'd punch me in the face and we wouldn't be friends anymore.
I'll kidnap him after the Moab trip.

So AJ, is your dad planning to wheel his 2nd gen with us? Thursday we planned for Strike Ravine and Sevenmile on Friday - neither is stock vehicle friendly.

He will take it if he is comfortable with it. I'm putting a limited slip in it tonight. We will see he might have just bought a spacer lift for it. I wish I would not have sold that Detroit I had for it. He is manual trans and 4.56 gears on 31s

Re: Classics go to Moab III
Thanks for the welcome all of you! I'm glad to be going along, and I look forward to meeting, wheeling, and hanging with you guys.
I just got all of my gear put together and organized in the garage. There are a few odds and ends I need to pick up for my emergency repair kit, along with food, and I'm ready to roll. I'll bring some good NM beer for any interested parties to try out, and see if I can get my hands on some firewood too.

I got plenty of fire wood gents. I got 20 pallets that I tore down for the oak 2x4s and I'd love some NM beer.

I'll be down Friday morning with my brother and two other friends. I drive a grey runner with DM stickers on it and the other rigs are a tacoma, geo tracker and a cherokee. We will be camping up by fins and things and staying tell Monday. I would like to run clithanger with y'all on Saturday if you are still doing it or possibly some other trails. If you spot us flag me down or call me. Tim 8015775711 It's always more fun to go as a group. Hopefully I'll see some of ya there!

i don't know if they'll let us burn pallets in a campground.

As long as the nails are out of them, it shouldn't be an issue at all.Kevin wrote:Monsteryota wrote:I got plenty of fire wood gents. I got 20 pallets that I tore down for the oak 2x4s and I'd love some NM beer.
