You're right sir. We're under contract on a home so hopefully everything goes well. We're scheduled to close on Aug 9th.

Nope we'll be in Clearfield. I work in the Freeport Center and my wife works in Layton so it makes sense for us to move up here.

Hey, if you really need us to help, I'll be there. If you can get your hands on a large trailer we can use the Tundra to help move your stuff. We could always help you move on Friday/Saturday and then head somewhere for Sunday/Monday wheeling.
Congrats on the house, BTW...the Hoff approves!

Good point. Plus, there's not a whole lot of wheeling up there. Anyone got a better spot? I'll like to stay high up in the trees to beat the heat.

Brady, say the word and I'll be there.
Murdoch Basin is gorgeous, but isn't really wheeling. Like I said, it was nothing my stock Explorer had any trouble with. It'd be a great place to get away, but I have a need to wheel. What about going above Bear Lake? Left Hand whatsitswhosits is supposed to be a mild trail, and there's fishing up there too.

Yes! Then I don't have to drive for hours on my college budget

Yeah, I don't either. I'll check my book when I get home.

I believe left hand fork is part of the Hardware Ranch area. I've heard it's beautiful up there!

What day will you be moving? Depending on the day I could get my dad's 24 foot snowmobile trailer. But I do have plans a couple of those weekends.

I'm thinking we might head down to yuba on the 17th. I'm still out of the wheeling scene but it would be fun to get together.

Elevation: not very high, and not many trees. But lots of water for the kids to swim and I've heard the fish are HUGE!
My problem is I can't really go to far. I would still be good with Scofield, or even Payson Lakes. I've never been to Scofield but I've heard there's not much for tree's up there either. Payson lakes on the other hand plenty of trees.

Hmmm...the 17th is the opening of my archery Elk season. Maybe we'll tag along as well, and I can bring my bow...just in case .

Nicole doesn't fish much but she loves to shoot. I'm sure she could be persuaded to bring along her bow and a target!
Re: Future planning
I don't work on the 17th so let me see if my wife has anything already planned. I definitely wouldn't complain about spending a nice day at Payson Lakes.

Re: Future planning
Alright, I'll look into bringing the whole famn damily as well. The only hiccup we may run into is that I return from my international trip that Friday afternoon (16th) so I'll likely be jet lagged. I see it as therapeutic to be in the mountains so I'm going to still plan on this. Is everyone thinking just a day trip up there or cruise down Friday night, camp, and then play all day Saturday?
