RTT or small off-road trailer

Post by dutchman on Fri Sep 01, 2017 5:41 pm

What do you guys think/what would you prefer?

A RTT or small teardrop style off-road trailer? Costs would be similar.

Ready... Go!

On which reasons does it depend?

Trailer for me. I wouldn't want to have to pack up every morning if I'm there again that night, and I'd like the additional cargo room and protection against weather.

I had similar thoughts. If it became absolutely necessary I could put a rack and RTT on the trailer.

If mostly easier terrain and multiple nights in one location are in your future - trailer

If harder terrain and single nights at any particular camp are in your future - RTT

Brady only goes camping with us though, so it's not like he's going to need 4WD ever again anyway.
