AFC service projects Empty AFC service projects

Post by Kevin Thu May 22, 2014 7:06 am

I'm emailing with Bear Taylor from Dirt Hedz about some pending service projects up AFC.  He mentioned in a thread on RME that his club is working with the Forest Service to evaluate some winter damage to Mineral Basin, and I magnanimously offered our help.  I'm great like that.   cheers

No idea on the date, but it'll probably be in the next couple months at the latest.  This will be a great chance for prospective members to satisfy that part of the membership requirement, and for the rest of us to walk the walk and represent the club.

Sounds good to me. Got a link for that RME thread so I can keep an eye on it?

It's the annual "is AFC open yet" thread.  Bear mentioned the projects in passing, I don't know if he's going to stick his head back in there about them or not.

Count me in tentatively depending on what dates they end up choosing. Oh and keep me posted on here since I'm too damn lazy to sign up on RME Razz   :

Bumping an old thread, Kurt Williams posted on Facebook that they're looking to install more interpretive signs up AFC and hinted that they need money to do it.  Can we all chip in to help fund a sign?
