My almost 5 year old daughter has pink eye and an ear infection. If you break into my house, I won't even pull out the arsenal - we'll all spit on you and make you get our diseases.

Be sure to take all your antibiotics. A couple years ago I got strep three times, each a couple months apart, and it turned out to be a strain that is becoming resistant to the antibiotics they prescribe.

Not only take your antibiotics, but finish the prescription as directed even if you start to feel better before they are finished. Not finishing the course of treatment completely is what allows the sickness to mutate and develop a tolerance to that medicine.

We're surviving. We have to pin my daughter down every morning to put drops in her eyes. I'm surprised the neighbors haven't called the cops yet from all her screaming..seriously. As for me, it's going to be a long road to recovery. I am still very tired and can't breathe very well. I'm assuming at least a couple of weeks before I can even work outside in the yard - an maybe a month or two before I'm back playing basketball and lifting.

That's a drag.  I've never had pneumonia, and I think I never want to, either.  How'd you catch it?

Give a holler if you need help wrangling heavy crap around the garage or yard.

I'm not much better. I hate putting drops in my eyes. My wife had to put them in for me and it's always a huge ordeal!

Wow, thanks guys...I appreciate the offers!

Kevin wrote:How'd you catch it?

No idea. I don't know anyone that's had pneumonia around here. If I do find whoever gave this to me, I just might make front page news... Evil or Very Mad
