June Trip

I picked May, and while fun need more people out! I know my schedule sucks, but getting time off in June is going to be a no go. All the mossbacks are burning their use or lose PTO. Where are we going for June? Lets make something happen! I'd like to hit the Uinta's

I think I should be good most weekends in June. I know that doesn't do much for your schedule though Josh.

I've got the weekend of the 18th, and the entire week before the 4th of July. I don't have anything carved in stone.

When do you have days off in June Josh? Those of us with weird schedules can always work something out. Or if July works better I have some time off then as well. I would love to up into soapstone or somewhere to get away from the heat

My days off are the same every week Wed Thurs Friday, I double checked the calendar tonight. Literally not a weekend I can take even a day off until almost the end of July

I'm more than happy to go out on a thursday by myself and setup shop somewhere for the rest of the group to join. I can stay over Friday nights, just have to be on the road early enough Saturday morning to be back in town around 1300. Doesn't mean everyone else can't stay another night

Normally not a big deal to get time off, but our unit is pretty small by comparison to most. We have one guy thats close to retirement volunteer for military orders all summer long..... which has left us a man down on the weekends all summer thus only one person from my shift can get time off on any given day

Sounds like my shift with senior pricks taking the entire summer off and screwing everyone else out of vacation time. I have every other weekend off which is the 17/18 or July 1/2 or 15/16 that I could do. I switch back to day shift on July 1 which I'm not happy about but I means I can leave to go camping right after shift on those Thursday's I work.

How about Boyer Lake/Joyce Lake?  I've never been, but I see lots of shoreline for fishing from.

Also looks like the first Saturday I could get off is July 2, but that weekend will probably be crazy busy for camping

Father's Day is this coming Sunday (6/19) isn't it? I think my Dad is coming to town, not sure when. I might be able to sneak away for Friday night.

I'm good next week (24th), don't think that will jive with Kevin or Bread's schedule though

Going up to scout Miller Hill this Thursday afternoon/evening, other than that I'm free all weekend.

Well I can head up Friday, and just do one night. If everyone else wants/is able to come up Friday night.

Either way I probably get out somewhere solo, my head hurts I need out of the city

Up to the rest of the gang, I'll likely head out somewhere on Thursday or Friday, if a group effort doesn't happen

I like the idea of camping at those lakes Friday night and then fishing/hiking/screwing around on Saturday

My plan was to head up mirror lake highway and drive until I found some place suitable. I'm with Andrew if you want to head up to Joyce/Boyer I'm game.

I'm out for this week and next with family stuff and work
