2nd qtr club run, the PET 6/4 to 6/7

We are camping Simpson springs Friday night.

Where are you guys camping Thursday night? And don't just tell me to look at the map. That takes way to much effort

Sheeprock mountains.

Thursday night we'll be south of Vernon at the base of Harker Canyon (yes Brad, look at the map ), I'll be out there when I get there, don't know when I'm leaving town yet.  We'll be exploring up canyons in the Sheeprocks all day Friday (might be some hiking), then we'll split for Friday night camp at Simpson Springs.  Bring a couple bucks, it's a pay campground.  We'll be pulling out of Simpson Springs early, around 0800, so that we'll have time to play a little on the way and still make Gold Springs around 1200 or 1300.  Anybody that wants to sleep in is welcome to do that and catch us on the road.  When we get to Gold Springs we'll poke around for the afternoon and see what's to be seen, find somewhere to camp, and then do whatever we do Sunday.

Again, guys, bring gas and water and make sure your spare is good.  We'll be completely self supported between Vernon and Wendover, there are no services in Callao or Gold Hill that I know of.

We need a friendlier flipoff smiley.

Josh, what time are you heading down?? I'm available all day, thinking I might head that way around noonish.

I was planning to head out around noon. But now I have to wait for someone to come give me an estimate on my busted ass central air, hoping to be on the road around 2.

Had a swamp cooler ditched it when we redid the roof, been living with windows open. Fine downstairs but my god upstairs feels like the face of the sun

Sounds good. We'll be up one of two canyons, marked on Google maps as FR 040 and FR 090.
