I know right! If I had a crawl box I would be rocking a set of 39 TSLs that my uncle is waiting to sell me when I can turn them!

After I remembered that I didn't have it I got to thinking about all the stuff I could get ticketed for if I got pulled over It wasn't pretty

Re: Ty's 1996 4Runner "FARM TOY"
Did you put the stock pump in the plastic can, or did you find an external pump to use?
Re: Ty's 1996 4Runner "FARM TOY"
I should have taken pictures as I put it together. The stock pumps fit perfect inside 3/4 brass nipple. I built a "T" put the rear pump in one end and the front in another. I put a 1/2" pneumatic hose connector in the 3rd end, then epoxied a fitting in the bottom of the bottle. The pumps are in front of my stock air box and the bottle is back by the ABS pump with a hose running between them. I'm sure that just confused you more!!!

No, I got it. Pretty cool. Does the stock pump use the washer fluid for cooling? Will it get burnt out sitting out in the open like that?
Re: Ty's 1996 4Runner "FARM TOY"
I'm not sure how the first gen is but the 3rd gen has external pumps.

So after a bad end to last week, I think I have some good news. I may have found a direct swap t-case on RME for $90. Thats even better than the $200 salvage yard ones!!!

I think there's someone on here that has experience swapping the 3rd gen cases...

Yeah, but you're one for three. That's not a very good success percentage.
Re: Ty's 1996 4Runner "FARM TOY"
In my eyes I'm 1 for 1. Not my fault the other two were broken.

Picked up a transfer case from an RME member yesterday!!!! Now to get time to get to Brigham and swap it. Who knows my dad may have it done by then anyway, he might have been more pissed about it breaking than I was.

Even a bigger problem than my t-case though is, I gotta figure out how to get Andrews tires back to him and get my new wheels from AJ.

Re: Ty's 1996 4Runner "FARM TOY"
I'm thinking this is how I'm going to remedy my axle wrap problem.
I could go with stiffer springs, but I think this will be easier and cheaper. I can get some tractor implement bars for cheap from my brother and the rest jut requires a welder!! The other option is a ladder bar, but I really don't want to weld anything to the axle if I'm going to be selling it to Kevin.

Word.
I've never seen one of these fixed to the spring perch like that, but it looks like it'll work just as well as one welded to the axle tube. I like it.

Yah, it looks super simple. I've read a little about them and some people swear by them. I don't see why it won't work.
