Did you ever figure out the lurching? Talking to JMoney on T4R, he had exactly the same problem with exactly the same setup (lockrite and duals). Says it went away when he replaced the lockrite with a spool.

I'll be putting this up for sale very soon. If anyone on here wants it, I'll give you a helluva deal.

Haven't found anything I like yet, but I'll most likely end up in a TJ.

I thought that's what you bought the side by side for? I'm so confused.

"Hell of a deal" the man said. Stop thinking about it and buy it already.

Re: Andrew's 88' 4Runner
The RZR is a blast to drive and does great off road. We've put almost 100 miles on it in the week we've owned it. It is street legal, but is not ideal for some of the trips we plan to take. I do have the Tundra, but that is too big for many trails. My plan has always been to get a smaller rig that Kallin and I can take on trips where the rest of the family stays home.

How close is this thing to being street legal? I know it can be registered as an ATV, just curious.

Damn close. I already have a hi-flow cat, just in case it doesn't pass the sniff test. I already have detachable mud flaps on. The tires stick out past the fenders. I have like 50' of 2" flexy fenders - just needs to be put on. I don't think it will cover ALL over the tire, though. My plan was to get some smaller tires on rims that have more offset so they'll tuck better under the truck. When I had Ty's wheels and tires here (factory 4runner rims and 315/65/16 tires) they ended up almost flush with the fenders. I believe the rims that are currently on there only have like 2" of backspacing. On all my previous Toyota's, I always ran rims with 3.75" of backspacing.
And, that's it. Frame height is right at 26" with the 37's. No leaks. A/C worked up until about a year ago when it ran out of freon. It's an R12 system so it would need to be converted to R134-a. I've had shops quote me less than $200 to make the switch.
Honestly, my plan was going to be to have BlueWolfFab (Chocflip) build me some custom tube/sheetmetal fenders to cover the tires. When I cut the fenders, I never patched the holes in the sheet metal so there are smallish holes in the front through the floorboard and bigger gaps in the rear. On dusty trails, it fill up with dust pretty quickly (that's why I like the removable top!!!!)
