Jeep guys like to put it right above the windshield. I bet most 4Runner guys mount it back a bit, maybe that's the difference?

You'll get some wind noise either way though.

I sold mine complete for $400, had a fresh timing chain, 268 cam, Thorley header, and blown head gasket. Captain Rob is always looking for 22RE motors, he goes through those things like Snickers on Halloween.

230 HP, dude. Go get it, we'll put it in Saturday. Smile

The site is run by a guy who 3D prints cup holders and makes them pretty much exclusively for older Toyota's. They are little pricey, but after using them last weekend in my BIL's FZJ80, I know they are well made and am now contemplating some for my 4Runner.

That's some neat stuff. I may have to pick up a 1st gen cup holder.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 3D printer, just want them to become a little bit cheaper.
