Do you not know me at all?
If it was a Subaru sticker I'd be all over it...

Here Brady. This would solve your tire size dilemna nicely. Ready to drop in, we'll make you some motor mounts and a crossmember/skid and done.

Re: Cool finds thread
A 351 would be nice. Can you get one with transmission and tcase adapter and modified harness for $1500? I don't think so.
Feck, now I'm thinking about it myself. I wonder if he'd swap for the 3RZ...

I think she's numb to it now. I tell her I need to switch something up and she says "that's nice honey" and pretends to care. I tell her I need more money for parts and she sighs and nods and gets out the wallet. It's great.
Re: Cool finds thread
Sounds like you better contact that dude about his 4.3 then.

Description says the stainless steel body of a 81-83 DeLorean is required for proper function. Not sure the '88 would allow for it to flux properly.

Re: Cool finds thread
Hey, Andrew needs a 4Runner, right? Let's make him buy Jon's pair of 4Runners and Marvin's 350 swap. With a little bit of work he could be in a clean-bodied street friendly fully built 1st gen for $5500, and that's before he parts out the pieces that are left.
Get on it, Andrew. When's the build party?

One of the best ideas you've had!

You need to clean out your garage. You need to make room for two 4Runners and a motor. Tell your wife I said it's ok.

Re: Cool finds thread
No. Half body-on-frame and half unibody makes for miserable crash test results. I'm not a Chevy guy, but I will concede that an older 'burb is a great platform if you can get over the size. The Astrovan not so much.
