Tomorrow!

Anybody headed out anywhere? I have to get out. I NEED to get out. Anybody doing anything and want some company?
If not, I'm thinking about exploring out the PET or Black Canyon way, or maybe driving out to the Silver Islands and poking around.

I might be up for it. I wanted to put my new body mounts on today, but maybe that can wait and I can install my rear locker instead.

Maybe in a long afternoon? It'll be several hours if you haven't done it before, longer if you hit a snag. If you start right now, you'll probably be done by dark but just barely. Do you know what you're doing?

I played with my maps a little - I'm thinking PET over Lookout Pass, then Government Camp Road south around the backside of the Sheeprock Mountains to pop out on Hwy6 just north of Little Sahara, then through Eureka to the interstate. Like this. Should be doable without worrying about gas, and if we left the Chevron at 10:00 think we'd have time to screw around and still be back on pavement well before dark.
I have no idea how passable Government Camp Road is, so improvisation may be required.

Do I know what I'm doing? Mostly.....no.
I've been reading the instructions and write-ups, but this will be a learning experience. I think I'll wait until I'm not under any time constraint.

Sweet, let's do it then. Ten o'clock at the Chevron, and if the roads are too bad we'll abort and hit Snakes or Little Moab. Who's in?
