Brady and I are headed out somewhere to find some snow this Saturday. Probably 5MP, but that's not set in stone. Who's coming?

I will try to make it, 90% sure I can pull it off with the wife. Don't know where 5M is, do you have a link to any information on it? My runner is still pretty stock hopefully that won't be a problem.

Should be seeing conditions like these: Snowy Snakes

Kevin, do you have a tow/recovery strap? Not sure how my AWD system will like climbing rocks with snow.

I have a strap and D shackles, yeah. It should go without saying, but everybody will need to have good recovery points front and rear. What I DON'T have is a snatch strap and we very well might need one. Might have to hit up Kurt before we roll out there.

Chris, Five Mile Pass is an ATV play area at the southern tip of the Oquirhh Mountains, southwest of Eagle Mountain. It's got a couple four wheel drive trails that are pretty tame when it's dry, but I'm sure are slick and difficult in the white stuff. Brady has a busted center diff and I'm not currently running a locker, so I don't know how far we'll make it up Rattlesnake. We might just end up tooling around the back roads and having fun in the snow.

What time and where do you want to meet? Early afternoon works best for me and it'll be warmer than a morning run. What do you guys think?

We could meet at that Chevron in Saratoga Springs?

I'd like to meet earlier than that, we'll lose light at 5:00 or so.

I should be available for recovery as well. Really depends on work. If I can get off I may meet you guys out there and ride shotgun with Kevin. If not Andrew and I can man the recovery team!!

Hey look Kevin is going to get punched in the dick! I really feel bad. I would like to go. But for a couple reasons don't think I can. First work is crazy busy right now and I would like to get the ot while I can. It only comes around a couple times a year. Second I don't have a rig to wheel. As much as I like you Kevin I struggle riding shotgun. Third my patents are might be coming down to see my boys Christmas. If they come they are bringing the trailer do I can fix the lights and Hall my runner up to BC. My goal this year is to get out at least once a month but this trip just may not happen.

Laughing

Don't worry, you wouldn't be riding shotgun too much. We'd keep you busy stacking rocks for Brady and his gimpy 4wd.

I hate to leave her out, but I hate to burn daylight. What if we started earlier and she followed later?

I will be there. I will probably be bring one of my boys, Tyler, he loves trucks. We'll build some snowmen so you guys can run them over.

Is the plan still to meet at the Chevron in Saratoga Springs?
