Thinking about a day trip. Dunno where yet. Anybody else have the day free?

Re: Saturday Somewhere
I wish. I will be driving to Brigham 3 of the next 4 Saturdays. And the other Saturday I've gotta work on my yard. Live kinda sucks right now

Re: Saturday Somewhere
I've been doing yardwork for a couple weekends now, but I think I'm about done with digging for the year.
Re: Saturday Somewhere
My truck is out of service until I get some extra cash to fix it. I busted one of my CVs so it sits lonely while I drive the wifemobile and my patrol car.

Re: Saturday Somewhere
How'd you bust a CV? I might have one kicking around if you wanna come get it.
Re: Saturday Somewhere
Have you seen the CV angles on my truck combined with turning 33 MTRs? It was bound to happen. Luckily it was an old one. I'm just planning on get an auto zone lifetime warranty one to match the other side so when I break them again they're covered

I should be free to go Kevin, where you thinking?
Bread, I may have a 3rd gen CV in the garage. I'll check.

Those aftermarket CVs are much weaker though. You'll be breaking them much more frequently.

I dunno. Up Old Ward, maybe go farther up to Providence or Left Fork, maybe go down to Silverado Canyon by Ophir, maybe up to Jacob City, I just wanna get out.

No good for me, I gotta hang new gutters tomorrow. I was going to hit you up for Thursday, but I'm working at Kurt's.
You don't wanna work Saturday. You should call in sick.

Re: Saturday Somewhere
I like the idea of going up Old Ward, somewhat close to my house. Let me see what I've got going for Saturday.

Re: Saturday Somewhere
I think Nicole's truck will handle Old Ward. The washout spot is probably a little much for the F150. I'll see if she'll let me borrow it.
It's a pretty short trail, you down to drive around up on Skyline after and see what we see?

Exploring sounds good. What time were you thinking? I'd prefer a later morning start.

Re: Saturday Somewhere
This edition of Saturday Somewhere sees your intrepid OP gathering support for a fact finding expedition to the west desert in search of the fabled land of Zakistan. It'll be a day trip but maybe a long one. Should be full size friendly with not much mud. Bring gas cans.

I'm down to split land. I only require that we are able to shoot on it.

Re: Saturday Somewhere
I'd love to but I've got too much else going on to drop money on land right now.
