Death Valley
We talked about it, but we never made plans. The weather is good right now, gas is cheap right now, who's down for a Death Valley trip in the near future?

Re: Death Valley
Eight hours there and eight hours back, so at least four to make it worth the trip?
Maybe leave late on a Thursday afternoon (or earlier, if you guys can swing it), throw up our tents somewhere on the far side of Vegas, explore DV most of Friday, all Saturday, and most of Sunday, leave for home Sunday afternoon and be home around midnight? How's that sound?

Re: Death Valley
I dunno, does March sound good? I have the weekend of the 14th and the weekend of the 28th, I think.
Brad has the first quarter club trip, he needs to be in here talking to us.

Re: Death Valley
For some reason I was thinking I was in charge of 4th quarter after looking up the old thread I now see that I'm completely wrong.
Andrew what works for your brother? Isn't he the Death Valley guru? I would need to see if I could swing a 4 day trip with my wife since baby is not a sleeper by any means.
As for weekends in March I could do the 14th or the 28th.

Re: Death Valley
Are we doing this? If so lets pick a weekend now, I need to know if I'm free to join Steve's White Rim trip.
Re: Death Valley
This isn't happening in the Spring for me. My wife and I are taking a trip to Ireland for our anniversary in a couple of weeks. That's going to use up a week of my time off.

My wife's work schedule is all over the place right now, I wouldn't know one way or the other until a week or so before.

Re: Death Valley
So it sounds like this is being shot down for a spring trip....who would be in for something a little closer to home?

Re: Death Valley
I think I'm going to jump on the White Rim trip Steve is planning on RME. Anybody wanna ride with us? There will be several support vehicles it looks like, so no need to worry about getting left behind.
Re: Death Valley
Kevin you know I still haven't registered on RME. What is this shenanigan down south?

I was trolling that thread. They've got a lot of miles planned on the bike....
