AF Canyon
June 20th - 21st
Camp up American Fork Canyon and run some trails (Forest Lake, Mineral Basin). Those that wish to camp Friday night, we'll find a place to meet. We could run Forest Lake as a night run and then do Mineral Basin the next morning.

You don't wanna camp Saturday night and then hit Forest Lake with the Tacomaworld hooligans?
Re: AF Canyon
I typically prefer Friday/Saturday outings. I just saw that Kallin has a baseball game Saturday morning so I might not be camping at all. Regardless, I'll definitely run Mineral Basin on Saturday - Forest Lake can be saved for Sunday.

I believe it's a couple hours each way...at the most. I like to start early-ish, I'll be camping pretty much right at the trailhead. Although, it's nice to eat lunch up at the top so maybe start the trail around 9am? If you're coming up that morning, I have no problem waiting for you.

Not sure I can make it down camping that Friday. An early start on the trail sounds good to me.

You guys have fun, I think I'm not going to make this trip. I don't feel right taking Nicole's truck and leaving her alone with the baby and no vehicle.

Sounds good. I'm trying to talk my BIL into bringing his DC Taco along, or at least get him to ride with me.

Ok, I've gotta be back at my house by 5 on Saturday. What time should we meet up? 8:30 at Tibble or that little staging area by Forest Lake?

8:30 at Tibble - we'll be easier to find. I'll let that guy from NV know.

Actually, now that I think about it...with all the rain (and snow!) we had this week, I bet Mineral Basin is going to be a mess. I don't want to tear up the trail...what do you guys think?

I don't think it'll too wet. 8:30 @ Tibble, sounds good.
