Looks great! What did you do with your airbag sensors? I might take this approach myself. I'm not keen on spending $1700 on a full plate bumper for my Tundra - just worried about what I would do with the airbag sensors.

As far as I understood, the sensors aren't in the bumpers. I thought they sense sudden stops, regardless of which bumper you're running. I've heard of lots of aftermarket bumpers having zero effect on airbags.

Re: Brady's 2001 4runner
From what I've read, I understand that the sensors aren't mounted in the bumpers. I believe they're located within the frame and like Steve said they're designed to detect sudden stops rather than the bumper crumpling.
I didn't get any airbag lights or anything going off when I started it up.

That's gotta feel good to have a big ol' bumper up there with some lights!

Re: Brady's 2001 4runner
Thanks guys! Still need to finish wiring up the lights, it got too cold/dark to finish. I haven't been able to wrangle the 4runner from my wife since I put the bumper on. She likes showing it off to her coworkers.

Holy crap, that is beefcake. Is that from Addicted too?
You should have Carl or somebody bend up some hoops to go on the side above that pierced plate.

Yeah it's from Addicted. Once I get it mounted I'll see if I want to add anything to it.
