As discussed in the planning thread.  No wheeling to speak of this time, because somebody who will remain nameless but whose name starts with TYSON and ends with HARDY hasn't taken care of business yet Mad , so we're going fishing instead.  Camp Friday night, or Saturday night, or both or neither.  I'll bring my canoe, so bring lifejackets for your kids, I have a couple but I can't guarantee they'll fit.

So looking online, there is a fee for the campsites up there? Also I see where reservations can be made...should we reserve some spots?

$18 a night?  That's crazy talk.  I see a whole freaking bunch of National Forest land surrounding that campground... I dunno about you guys, but I'm thinking free sounds a lot better than paying $18/night just for a paved driveway and a picnic table.

I'll drive up around there the first of next week and see if I can find something. Otherwise I am fine to go elsewhere!

I know it's a bit farther to drive, but how about Skyline Drive? There's Gooseberry Reservoir, Fairview Lakes, Huntington Reservoir, and tons of other places to camp.

I'm probably good with Skyline.  Gimme trees and water and altitude and I'm there. Smile

I'm told that you can take a minivan down most of Skyline, as long as it's not raining.

Why don't you scout Payson lakes, and if there's nowhere for a convenient primitive camp let's do Skyline?

Bad new guys. Looks like I'm out for the 16/17 weekend. My team works that night and I dogged them this past weekend to work my rig. I might be able to come up Saturday morning after work but it all depends on SLEEP. I knows sleep is over rated but death caused by drowsy driving is not.

Ty, you suck.  Mad

Ok, so who is camping and who was planning on daytripping?  It would be fun to meet up in Spanish Fork and just head out Skyline and find what's to be found, but that would make it hard for the daytrippers to find us... is everybody down with an overnighter?

I'm out for the trip. That's the weekend I'm hoping to get everything moved into my house (assuming we close as scheduled).

Well, allright then.  Party at Brady's house I guess, huh?

Maybe we should get him moved all quicklike and then abandon him and go drive Skyline or the B or something.

I changed the title of the thread.  Brady, are you getting a truck or do I need to get my little trailer ready to go?

I'm not sure whether I can make it or not. It all depends on whether or not my crew get their job done during the week or not. It is my teams week to work Saturday if it is needed. So far its been needed almost every week.

I've got my F-150 and will have a trailer from work. Should be able to get everything in 2 trips.
