I can leave my truck in Spanish Fork. I would drive it but the lower ball joints are in need of replacing. It is wearing my new tires really bad so I want to drive it as little as possible.

Don't worry about driving, we'll have plenty of room.

Why don't we meet up wherever Ty wants to leave his truck, then? Do you have somewhere in mind, Ty, or would the gas station at the mouth of the canyon do?
This is going to be a rough trip, I can tell already.

Holy shit! Have you guys seen the pis old geezer just posted over on rme? It's very discouraging.
In the past I've left the truck at the Kmart just before heading up the canyon. We will just plan on that for now.
Andrew, I ope your bed is big enough for all my crap. I need to look pretty for those huge ass rocks

I got an email from Glenn with PLEAA, and as of now this project is cancelled or at least postponed.
I'm trying to get more information about why, but the scuttlebutt is that SUWA has challenged the legality of the BLM allowing private citizens to do trail clearing work.

That is absolutely absurd. Well, should we plan something else?

I'm thinking if we're not heading south I may head north and try and get something accomplished on my runner.

I think we should. Even if there's no service project, we can go down there anyway. Go in via Poison Springs, come out at Hans Flat or Hite.

OR, you could head north before then and get it done, then come with us?

I'm heading up there this Saturday, but not likely that I will get it done If we are not going down for the service project then I should really go to Brigham so that at some point this summer I can actually go wheel with you guys!
If anyone wants to join me either weekend you're more than welcome.

Looks like its a good thing this got canceled. I just remembered that I have a 5k on the 11th and wouldn't have been able to go anyways.
