September Run w/ RME
I think it's been decided that our September run we will be joining with the RME quarterly training day and service project.
eta: This is a 2 day trip and service project up Air Force Canyon. We'll meet at the Chevron in Highland at 5pm and camp overnight up the canyon. More details here: http://www.rme4x4.com/showthread.php?92341-Fall-Quarterly-Training-Day-Service-Project-up-AF-Canyon-September-28-29th-2012

There's another RME service project at 5 Mile Pass that looks like it's being overshadowed badly by this one. Depending on what kind of turnout the 5MP service project gets, we should consider heading out there afterwards or on Sunday to help out there too.

I may be better off at 5 mile. I am not going to be able to make the camp out do to the BYU vs. Hawaii football game. (season tickets)

That's not a horrible idea then. Maybe we'll come out and join you Saturday afternoon/evening for a night run up Rattlesnake?
Re: September Run w/ RME
I haven't decided yet. I would almost rather go out to AY canyon saturday morning then we could all head out to 5 mile together. Or just run a trail in AF. I would love to run that MEG that you guys ran last week some time.

I'm not in any hurry to run MEG again soon, maybe in awhile. I'm ok for whatever, just need to see when my wife is working since her new job starts soon.

No, you wanna run Mineral Basin. MEG was cool, but really just a dirt road, milder than Rattlesnake. I think I could get my wife's old Saturn up there.

I would be fine with any. I would rather the rattlesnake night run maybe October when night comes earlier.

Ty, Brady, can either of you post to this thread? Andrew is getting an "Admins Only" message, but it isn't locked or hidden, I can't figure it out.

Sweet, it works! I'll be heading up early afternoon on Friday. I wasn't planning on bringing my 6 year old boy, but I am now. Should be a good time.

If we don't finish moving the logs on Thursday, I'll be up Friday morning. Looks like at least Brian and I are going to run Mineral Basin Friday afternoon, don't know who else is coming, how early can you make it up?
I'll be on ch16, I think.

Earliest for me would be 4pm. Don't have too much fun on Mineral...that's the trail I want to run on Sat...

Re: September Run w/ RME
So typical Tyson moment here I just got word from my wife (after talking about this run for over a month) that her family is all getting together for a family party. Then my dad is having a special story written on him for a dairy magazine and they want us all to get our pictures taken with the wheelers. So I get to drive my runner but not up AF canyon.

I actually love wheeling. And I really enjoy wheeling with you guys for some reason timing doesn't like me to wheel.
