Silver Island Mountains for New Years weekend?
I'll drive out Friday afternoon or evening, and explore Saturday. Might come back that night or stay over and explore more Sunday, depending on stuff and things.
I've been out there once, and think I know where one adit and some ruins are. I think I've spotted a couple more via Googlemaps. Expect much aimless wandering. Stock trucks will be fine, unless the snow is super deep.

I'll be in California or on the road back. Enjoy the exploring!

I do want to go out there. I just have a hard time with holiday trips. Those are the days that Brittany wants to spend with family.

I work that weekend, have a new baby, and I'm broke. I'm out.

You can call in sick, YOU didn't give birth to the little crib rat, and I'm broke too. All your excuses are invalid.
