and there it is.. hard decision but to be totally honest I didn't want to wheel it because it was so pretty.
Guess I never made a build thread for it here. at least I brought it back from certain death! It will go on to someone caring I hope.

yeah I know... I am too. Looking at it all cleaned up it's SOOO nice. someone's coming to look at it tomorrow.
here's the honest truth though Kevin. I was scared to wheel it. it's so pretty. Evident by the fact I'm asking about $3200 over blue book (2300 I think) with plenty of interest.
at least I'm only into it $2k. lol.
but the Jeep... it's still in pretty good condition for it's age, but the paint or body isn't nearly quite as nice. I won't feel so bad about the bumpers etc I'm going to build for it. solid axles front and rear and a 5.9L V8 are nice.
odd thing is, the entire jeep sits as low as the gas tank on the 4Runner. which kinda means they're about the same. I intend to have a 3.5" (maybe 4.5") lift on some 32's or equivalent p-metric tires.
I see you have slimmer tires on your truck... does that really make it more capable to wheel? that T4R thread is intriguing.

There's lots of pros and cons with any tire choice. I don't know if my skinnies are more capable overall than a wider tire, and I suspect it's largely situational. I chose the skinnies because I wanted to keep my rotating mass low and reduce stress on my steering and suspension, and they've definitely done that.
