These directions are decent. If you're coming from Lehi, the turn off of Redwood is at the abandoned house immediately before mile marker 7, don't let it sneak up on you. Head down the dirt road, watch for Chimney Rock immediately on your left (you'll know it when you see it). Once you pass Chimney Rock, look to the right (north) and you'll see the patch of pale sandstone in the hills - that's Little Moab.Monsteryota wrote:DIRECTIONS: 1- From I-15 South take exit 244 for US-6 W toward Santaquin/Delta 2- Continue West on Main Street/15200 South through Genola and Goshen toward Elberta 3- Turn right, at the old Amoco, onto UT-68/12800 West (this is the South end of Redwood) 4- Just past the Dump, take a left onto a flat dirt road at Mile Marker 7 5- Continue about 4.5 Miles, you will see some trails leading off the main road 6- Take a right at the large rock formation and head N/W, this will be a hilly/rutted road 7- Aim for the white slick rock
GPS COORDINATES: 40.073146, -112.042179
The drive from the corner at Redwood and Main is about half an hour, plus or minus.

Not even close o5 mile. Little Moab you go south from that chevron instead of west. It's closer to Elberta. It's actually in Mosida.

I see. Well, I make no guarantees. It depends on how exhausted I am. I might come though.

Bad news guy. It looks like Britt got Friday off which mean we are heading to Bear Lake Thursday morning and not coming home until Sunday evening.

Crap on a cracker! I'm tired of having problems on the way to a meet. My transfer case won't go into N or L4. Working the problem now, but I've no idea what's going on.

Okay, I'm trying to come up with an explanation that doesn't make me look stupid, but its not working. Suffice it to say that if you put a Trail Gear transmission mount in be aware that your transfer case shift stick may not have enough clearance to move through the H4 range. Ask me how I know.

It interferes on the tunnel, you mean? Do you have a body lift?UteRunner wrote:Okay, I'm trying to come up with an explanation that doesn't make me look stupid, but its not working. Re: Farm Toy Maiden Voyage
No body lift. It was being hindered by the center console of all things. I had put in a Trail Gear tranny mount which apparently lowered the transmission/transfer case just enough to make the shifter hit the console thereby stopping it from getting into 4H . I figured this out only after spending entirely too much time misdiagnosing the problem. Reminder to self: no matter how stupid it may seem, always check the simplest thing first. Excuse me while I go bang my head against the wall.

Bummer man. Wish you could have made it out today! Maybe next time! I'm thinking about a day after Christmas run if anyone is up for it!
