Favorite MODS?
So now that my SAS is almost done and winter is coming up, I want to start looking at some SIMPLE/CHEAP mods that I can tinker with in my garage.
So the question is. What are your favorite mods that you have done to your runners? I don't care what gen runner you've got, if I like it I will figure out how to do it!!
So far I have 3 that I are in planning stages.
First LED cargo lights. I've got an idea that I think will be freaking awesome.
LED lights under the hood. I don't know why but they didn't design S*** for lights under there. It's hard to work on your rig at night if you can't see!!
Cargo drawers. I'm thinking something like this but lighter!! Cargo Box My brother in law runs a cabinet shop so he is going to help me out with designing it!!

I've got an LED dome light coming, and I want to do a strip of LEDs in the rear on the cargo bar. Another strip under the hood would rock, I think I'll do that too! I've also got a pair of Rigid Duallies and another pair of knockoff LED projectors I need to find a place to install, and another set of crappy $20 Vatozone lights I need to sling under my rear bumper for aux reverse lights. That's what you should do, is grab some cheap lights and set them up under your truck as rock lights.
Here's a little something else I've got brewing:

I have 3 of these kits from Williams Off Road Lighting
2 in white and 1 in red. I plan to use 2 or 3 strips in the cargo area, 1 or 2 strips under the hood and 1 or 2 strips in each wheel well. I don't know what I'm going to do with the red yet. Probably a couple tagged to my brake/blinkers and maybe a few under my sliders.

Put a third brake light around your license plate once you get the tire carrier on.Thardy wrote: I don't know what I'm going to do with the red yet.

This LED dome light is the coolest $5 I've ever spent on the truck. It's got a springloaded cassette that slots in where the old lightbulb goes, and that's wired to a 36 LED board that slips inside the dome light cover. It's bright as hell, SO much better for finding crap behind the seats or on the floor at night.

Low Range. Brandon has one that's a little different.

Hids!!!!!! Brighter headlights rock. Also a light bar across the top of the cab for night wheelin. Duel batts are a good idea. Expaned metal on the rear roll bar of the first gen keeps things in the back cargo area. Also convert all exterior lighted ie brake lights turn and marker lights into LEDs . 94 intake on the 22re is awesome. Build your own snorkel from home depo/Lowe's .

I don't like HIDs without projectors - Nicole's truck has a cheap HID retrofit, and I've been pulled over and warned about it twice. I need to convert it back to stock.
I've got the Bastard converted to H4, and that's a huge improvement over stock in that old truck. Once I upgrade my wiring I'm going to go to a 110w high beam.
