Snakes 3/16
Wasatch Cruisers are meeting at the trailhead (not the parking lot) at 8:30 AM, they like to get an early start I guess. They're going to drive Rattlesnake and then go over to the Sunshine Mine - I haven't been to that mine and don't know where it is, so if my truck is rolling I'm going to tag along with them (and maybe even if it isn't). If that's too early for anybody I'd be happy to meet you guys later and drive Rattlesnake and/or Constrictor again.

Re: Snakes 3/16
I don't know for sure, Brady. Lets plan on meeting at the parking lot at 1300, does that work for everybody? If you haven't been there before, make your best way to Redwood and Main Street west of Lehi. Follow hwy 73 west and south to the Five Mile Pass OHV area, the parking lot is on your right maybe 2 miles from the fork in the road at the top of the pass. Please note that Google is wrong, don't go to the road that's actually signed "Sunshine Canyon Road". If you see that sign, you've gone too far.

If you're getting up with the sun to roll with the Wasatch Cruisers, head over to their forum at WasatchCruisers.org and introduce yourself. It's an open run and non-members are welcome, but they're a little formal about such things and since I'm not a member myself I don't want to presume.
This is a stock-friendly run, if you pick your lines right Rattlesnake is very easy to drive. Vitruvius ran this trail with no lift and street tires in the snow and completed it just fine. If you're built up a little that's cool too, there's definitely some trickier lines to explore, and there's always Wayne's World and the Constrictor Trail if you think your rig can handle it... (I haven't done Wayne's World yet myself, it's a serious obstacle)

Re: Snakes 3/16
So wait, did this just change from getting up at the crack of dawn and running with Wasatch Cruisers to a club run at 1PM at snakes?
I would totally try to meet up with you guys out there at 1PM but I have to take the scouts to the BYU PowWow that doesn't end until 12:30PM. I could meet you guys up there at about 2PM

Re: Snakes 3/16
Chris, Wasatch is still running it early. Kevin and Andrew seem willing to run Snakes a second time that day so that more of us might be able to meet up.
Kevin, I'm planning on making it out there in the afternoon. If not I'll let you guys know.
Wayne's World is nuts. I've only see one guy attempt it and he didn't get very far.

I'm going to try to make the run with WC because I want to meet more of those guys. But that's crazy early, especially for the guys up north who'd have to be on the road at 6:30, and I don't mind running the trail twice, so why not meet in the afternoon?
If 2:00 is earliest you could make it I'm fine with that.

Re: Snakes 3/16
well I talked it over with my wife, she says she already had something planned for that evening (friend's baby shower). Looks like I forgot she called dibs. I am out, no need to move it to 2PM on my account. Sorry, I will be an the next run though.

Awesome Jesse, it'll be good to finally meet you .
I count seven trucks now, I'm really looking forward to this! Chris, you need to ditch that silly baby shower.

Re: Snakes 3/16
Ha ha just sayin but guys and baby shower are a horrible combo. Lol it is more of a female ordeal unless it is your kid lol but this could just be me being sexist or something.
Looking forward to meeting all you guys.

Re: Snakes 3/16
Man, 7 trucks? nice! I will try to figure this out with the wife.
BTW - I am not going to the baby shower, my wife is. I get to stay home with the boys while she is at her little party.

Re: Snakes 3/16
Bring 'em. Ian has a great time running alongside the trucks, and he sleeps real good on the drive back.
