PERFECT, thank you!!!! The fender flares I'm looking at are the Bushwacker pocket-style. You nailed it!

The black isn't bad, but I think gunmetal or a dark bronze would be wicked looking too...

Excellent. I'm not usually a fan of the newer wheel styles, but those fit that truck well. Looking forward to seeing it this weekend!
Re: Andrew's 2010 Tundra
I decided to re-direct the funds I was going to use to get a 3rd gen to the Tundra. So, she's got new bumpers front and rear, rock sliders, and a 12k lb winch. Just a few finishing touches required but most of the heavy lifting (pun intended) is done. I was happy to have my dad and father-in-law in town this weekend

That looks AWESOME!! Did I read correctly on RME that your bumpers were done at Armor Coatings? If yes, how do you like the finish? Does it seem like it would be pretty durable?

Re: Andrew's 2010 Tundra
Yes, I got the bumpers powder coated at Armor Coatings. The finish looks great - I got it a little textured to avoid a glossy look. They do scratch pretty easily, which really surprised me. Putting them on, we hit some things here and there and it almost looks like I can see metal - maybe it's primer, can't say for sure. Time will tell how these things do - I don't anticipate having to do much to them since I was told the powder coating should last 10+ years.

Have you gotten a closer look at the scratches on your bumpers? Did you go through the powder coating to bare metal?

Re: Andrew's 2010 Tundra
Yup, it scraped through the powder coating all the way to the metal. So, my opinion now is that powder coating is great protection for metal that never sees action. If it's something like bumpers and sliders, just paint it and keep doing touch-ups after trips...

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Re: Andrew's 2010 Tundra
Finally saved up enough pennies and went with a set of OME leaf springs in the rear. They ride MUCH, MUCH better than the factory leafs. I put the factory shackles back on since the leafs + longer shackles would have set me about 3" higher in the rear.
I am going to sell the longer shackles and get a set of shorter, longer shackles which will work much better with the longer OME leafs and get me a little closer to factory rake (2").
Here is what's next to be done
1. Build a bed rack
2. Wire up PIAA lights in front bumper to factory fog light switch
So, any recommendations of who could help me bend the tube and weld the rack together? And...who is good with electrical to wire up those lights?
You can't really see a difference but here's a poser shot I took while testing out the new springs:

Re: Andrew's 2010 Tundra
the lights shouldn't be hard to hook up. I would recommend getting a Blue Sea fuse box though. This will allow you to hook up all kinds of things with ease!
Currently My PIAA's are wired to work all the time. I hate it though cause I've left them on and forgot about them which killed my battery.
Anyway If you're going to wire them to your factory switch, I would think it would be as easy as splicing the wires and connecting them together. and I could probably help with that too

Re: Andrew's 2010 Tundra
Well, today I sent some pictures of the Tundra to the place I got my bumpers from (Expedition One in Ogden) Later this afternoon they replied with an email asking if I wanted this bed rack they no longer need. It's all 2" DOM and is a prototype they built awhile back. Shipping costs just weren't feasible for the unit so they scrapped the idea. I am seriously considering this...especially since they only want $150 for it...

$150 for that bed rack would be awesome! I think that would look sweet on your tundra. I can help with wiring if you still need to get some of it done still. Auxiliary lighting is pretty straight forward typically
