No bueno for me, unless you want to ride down near Mesquite or Vegas. It's my mom's 60th so we'll be down there.

18th might work for me. Have my next instructor test on the 9th.

Re: Official MTB Thread
Sure. Or Wire Mesa or Guacamole, we haven't ridden those yet and they're supposed to be good.
Re: Official MTB Thread
What was the game plan for this May trip? Need to get my schedule blocked out. Also trying to get Nick on board.

Re: Official MTB Thread
I'll be in Vegas that weekend, getting there Thursday (5/16) evening. I can drive over to the Hurricane area Friday (5/17) morning and meet you guys for a ride.

Go down Thursday night, camp on Gooseberry, ride Friday with Brady and ride Saturday without him, come back Saturday night? I'll see if Connor and Eric wanna come.
Can carpool if you want. I've got plenty of room.

Schedule is blocked off. Nick is also in if you can fit both of us and gear in the 15 passenger van

Re: Official MTB Thread
The Biddle Bike Bus can fit everything you can throw at it. My rack only has room for three bikes, we might have to put one on the roof.
Re: Official MTB Thread
Connor's in, he's got a rack for four bikes. We can totally carpool if you guys want.
Re: Official MTB Thread
Dead Ringer and Goosebumps are at the base of Gooseberry and they look fun. We could totally spend a day down there if we didn't want to drive to Wire Mesa.
Re: Official MTB Thread
I haven't ridden any of those 2 trails, but they sound like fun. Count me in.

Kes and I would ride it. Aubs doesn't like tunnels.

Re: Official MTB Thread
The trestles would probably give Nicole fits. But I bet it would only take us a couple hours tops, we could ride it and then go find something else to do.
Re: Official MTB Thread
Knocked out 8ish miles yesterday. Discovered a (new to me) trail system about 2 miles from my office. I think I'll be riding up there more often.

Re: Official MTB Thread
Josh and I cranked out ten or so at Eagle Mountain yesterday morning. Up Nirvana, down Treadstone, up Roadrunner/Coyote, down Deadwood, up Backspacer and then down Nirvana again. It was a good ride.

What time should I plan on being up on the Mesa that Friday?

Re: Official MTB Thread
Whatever works for you. You're coming from St George, right? So probably not terribly early.
You're only riding Friday, right? Do you wanna do Gooseberry or something else?

I'll be coming from Vegas. I'm down to ride Goose unless you guys want to meet me in St. George and we can ride something there.
Yeah, I'm only riding Friday.
