I might need a gorilla.

Post by Kevin on Thu Mar 16, 2017 6:21 am

Or maybe not a gorilla, but someone with an intact shoulder anyway.

So here's the deal, I'm tearing down the rear end of the Broverlander.  The axle bearings are frickin' in there.  My shoulder is still torn up and just I can't put enough grunt on the slide hammer to get them out.  If one of you guys has a minute in the next couple days to swing by and show these little fawkers who's boss, I promise to sing your praises for eternity and also buy you a burger.  A good burger, mind, none of that Burger King crap.

Scratch that. I'm free. If you all you have is an evening, I'll make it work.

I'm pretty sure I can swing by tomorrow mid-late morning. I'll let you know for sure.

Ok, let me know. The wife wants to go pick up furniture, but if you're coming over I'll make her go by herself.

No, I'm about half crippled right now. Some days it hurts to fasten my belt or reach for my wallet. I got a steroid shot a while back and it made it a little better but I think it wore off. I might have to have my guy order a surgery, which I'm not happy about at all.

I have lots of boxes that can be carried by one arm, if you make that one sore enough you'll forget about the other

rotfl

Seriously though, hope it starts feeling better

I've done the shoulder surgery thing, not fun. I'll try and be down about 09:30 tomorrow.

Thanks Brady, you're the man.

Josh, do you still need help? I could probably spare some time at some point this week.

Right now all the extra stuff has been moved out for staging, house is going on the market Wednesday. I get possession of my rental on the 1st of April at which point if i'm under contract i'll slowly start moving stuff.

But for now my back is done moving for a week or so.

Glad the Brady Gorilla was able to help you out

Sorry Kevin, I just saw the post and could have come out and helped. On a side note, does anyone know of a place that will install the tracks for a FrontRunner roof rack on a Leer shell. Sam T and 4Wheel won't do it, Rack N Road wants 220 bucks. Or if someone has some advice on lining up the tracks.

I'll give it a pull, can't be that hard to get them lined up right?

Do you have my cell? Feel free to text, 8018917467. If I'm free I'll come play, I'm sure that'll be easier with two hands.
