September
So I have the entire month of September off and need to get out and take the new truck camping. I have some commitments the first half f the month but nothing after the 17th or so. I would love to do some spiral jetty, lucin cutoff, ghost town/mine shenanigans or something similar. Thoughts or ideas?

Kevin and I were talking while we were surrounded by people in the Uinta's, and thinking of maybe doing that Wendover-St. George route in September. Something like that work for you?

Re: September
As long as it is an overland type of trip then I'm good with it. Definitely nothing too technical since my truck is stock on half tread highway pattern 32's. Haha

Re: September
What would you guys think about stretching it out a little, and driving from Idaho to Arizona along the Utah/Nevada border?

I'm good with that, just need to lock up dates so I can ensure my attendance

I don't think I can swing the full 4 days, I could meet you guys for a night or 2. Any idea on the route?

Re: September
Most of it would approximate the route Dave and Eric took. We'd need to plot a route from the corner of UT/ID/NV to Wendover, which shouldn't be hard, and then figure out where to split from the original route and head for the corner of UT/AZ/NV instead of St George. Or the reverse, if we wanted to go south to north.
I forget how many days/nights Dave took, do you have the link Josh? The border looks like ~350 miles, probably need to triple that because we won't be going in a straight line, so a four day/three night trip would require prox 250-300 miles a day? Plus highway time. But having Dave's .gpx would give us a much better idea of mileage/time.
