3RZ wrench party!

I'm going to try to devote next weekend to getting the Bastard running. My new theory is that if I've got company I'll quit getting sidetracked by everything else that I've been putting off around the house, so that's where you guys come in. Come eat hot dogs and pizza and have a beer or two if that's your speed and help keep me on task. I'll be out there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday if necessary. Unless nobody shows up, in which case I'll probably be screwing around with screen doors or something.

Also for more motivation, Het Beest may be up and running in the next two weeks. So you can't let him beat you.

I might be able to swing down Saturday. What are you trying to accomplish this weekend?

I'll be over on Thursday, how long is dependent on the wife working from home. Pup still can't be home alone for more than a few hours.

Also my cousin is pulling that double booster for me to bring over for a swap

If I can just get it started I'll be stoked.  The big road block is I need to sit down with the conversion harness and my wiring diagrams and splice six wires, but I'm not entirely sure which six they are because the guy who built it for me has the communications skills of a brick.

Complete to-do list:
Put the top of the motor back together and reinstall the factory wiring harness
Drain the three year old gas from the tank
Install conversion harness
Put the exhaust together
Build a heat shield between the exhaust plenum and the intake/brake lines

And apparently I need to pull the old brake booster and MC because Het Beest needs it.  I guess we're doing that Thursday if I don't get around to it in the morning.

Sounds good.  Bring puppers if you want, we have a fenced back yard and Ian would love to wear him out.
