Just saw that Steve bought a nice 3rd gen T4R tonight - time to lure him over here... Laughing

you guys are evil. I can't believe anyone would invite me to a forum. You don't know what you're getting yourselves into.

I heard it wasn't really a forum if Sixstringsteve wasn't a member.

Welcome to the site, Steve, and make yourself at home.

Welcome Steve! cheers

I'd post it on RME, but it feels more fitting here I'm a BIG fan of the new rig! We needed another 3rd gen owner on here!

We needed no such thing. We had 1st gen numerical superiority and that was as it should be. Now I gotta go find another 1st gen to hang out with us.

1st gens are way cooler. They're just not what I need right now. I am in love with my new rig. It needs some attention: steering rack bushings, lower BJs, possibly TREs, but that's the best part of owning a rig: bonding with it on wrenching days. I think the rockcrawling bug has died down lately. I'd still like to do Elephant Hill, Beef Basin, and Hole in the Rock in the next 6 months, but I don't need a big rig for those.

Looks to me like we need to make another run and add some more runners to our picture up top!! Although that is a cool pic!

Well, I've decided to get a 3rd gen this Spring -- I might just keep my 1st gen just to balance things out, we'll see.

Welcome Steve, thanks for joining our quaint community. :rabbit:

You must not have seen the Total Chaos Tundra in the last 4WD Toyota Owner.

I think 1st gen Tundras are fantastic expo rigs. The 2nd gen ones seem a little big.

I informally invited Cascadia the other day but he may need an official invite.
