Re: Latuda (1st quarter 2016 Club run)
Well this was a rescheduled doc appointment since my normal knee doc wasn't available until next week. I didn't realize it but she was just a general practitioner. Her thoughts were tendonitis on my quad tendon that attaches to the knee. But I think that is a result of the actual injury which she was unsure of. I go in Wednesday for an appointment with my actual knee doc. Still hurts like hell even medicated, but at least I'm not wanting to just chop it off anymore. I won't have more info until Wednesday unfortunately

Re: Latuda (1st quarter 2016 Club run)
So the wife sprung a babysitting request on me, I'm not going to make it up Thursday. Who's leaving Friday, and what time?
Re: Latuda (1st quarter 2016 Club run)
I'm going to try and leave early to mid afternoon on Friday. Planning on packing the truck and just leaving from work.

I'm flexible. I'd like to beat rush hour and find camp before dark though.
Re: Latuda (1st quarter 2016 Club run)
So i'm for sure out, bad idea for me to be hobbling around. Doc says I might have a torn meniscus, if not feeling better by Monday I have to go in for an MRI..... Boo.... have fun take lots of pretty pictures for me

That sucks, Josh. I'm bummed for you.
Brady, Brad, what time are you guys off work Friday?

MRIs blow. Way more expensive than they need to be.
Kevin, I'm "working" a half day from home Friday. I should be able to leave anytime after 1200.

Cool. I don't know if I'm bringing Ian, but he gets out of school at 1300.

I hate to do this to your guys especially since I suggested the destination but a few days ago at work I had a training accident and ended up getting six stitches in the webbing of my right hand thanks to my k9. I have a doc appointment Friday morning as well so I have to see how things go from there.

Do you want to meet in the valley somewhere or down at the mouth of Spanish Fork canyon? How far is it to our camping area?

Six stitches is nothing you big weenie. You better come.
I'll meet whoever wherever, I don't care. The Chevron station at the mouth of the canyon is easy. It'll be a hair less than an hour from the Chevron to Spring Canyon, and then camp will be wherever we set up. There's a couple likely spots, one is up a side canyon a ways at a dead end but doesn't have a huge amount of flat ground, the other is right at Standardville but there'll be more traffic. I'm easy with either one.
Is anyone coming later? Do I need to throw up GPS coords for the campsites or all we all going up at the same time?

Re: Latuda (1st quarter 2016 Club run)
It's not the stitches necessarily it's the fact that my thumb is like half functional since it tore all of the webbing apart

I vote for the more secluded option.

Post the coordinates, regardless. It's good to have it documented where we plan to be.

I'm with Andrew, probably a good idea that someone can find where we are just in case.
Meeting down at the Chevron sounds good to me. What time, 3ish?

Ahh no fair, I didn't know you were a K9 handler. I've been wanting to do that, but we had a grouchy older GSD who I didn't think would like a new dog coming into her house. Unfortunately we lost her on Thanksgiving which has been really hard. But we have a new puppy (white GSD) arriving next week. Hopefully all of you will meet her on the next outing as we want to get her good and socialized, and used to camping.

Ok Kevin, 1500 works for me too.
Maybe I'll drag my small dog along on an upcoming outing as well.
