Found this gem tonight. Anything special I should look out for? What would you say is a decent price point?

What would your plans be for it??  My opinion is $600 may be a little steep for a 2x4, but that's my opinion.

It would just be something for me to drive around instead of the runner all the time. I absolutely love the old trucks with round headlights and beds with the side rails. The guy said he would be interested in trading for a pistol I have.

I'd pass. Once the novelty wears off you'll hate driving it. Wait for something better, that'd be my advice.

I think it could be a cool project. It'd take a lot of work to get the body nice, if you care about that. If he'll trade you straight across for your pistol then you're not out any cash. If you want it go for it!

A damned lot of work, and when you're done fixing all the rust it'll still be a draft rattly 2WD with a busted bench seat and a 20r motor. A tired 20r that'll be lucky to make 50 rwhp.

Brad, you need to put a 2JZ-GTE into this truck.

I changed my mind.  Buy the truck, Brad.
