New tires pretty please!
So leaving for work early this morning I was fortunate enough to blow out a tire. Lucky me. Anybody have any decent tires laying around that you need to find a new home for? Or know anybody looking to do so for a decent price?

I don't have any laying around, but I got my Cooper ATPs at discount for a good price (though that was awhile ago). I've been very happy with their performance, for an all-terrian tire.

Re: New tires pretty please!
So today of tomorrow I'm going to pull the trigger on some new tires. I'm going to get a 265/75/16 just to have a little bit more rubber under the truck before I lift it. I'm leaning towards the Falken Wildpeak ATS from Discount Tire. Do any if you guys or anyone you know have experience with them?

Falken WildPeak A/T
For such a mild looking tread, the WildPeak A/T surpassed our expectations in terms of performance off-road. Much of the punishment our staff subjected the WildPeak A/T to included heavy rock, deep mud, high-speed gravel, and sand. We even managed to challenge the compound to some unforgiving lava rock near Flagstaff, Arizona, with little consequence. In virtually all aspects, the pattern returned positive results. Our staff didn’t experience any flats, though the WildPeak A/T did fall short when it came to braking in the dirt. It wasn’t really an issue on-road, but off-road, we found that these tires lock up and skid more readily than others in this category. As expected, the WildPeak A/T shined on pavement whether it was wet, dry, or ice-covered.

Re: New tires pretty please!
That tread looks a lot like Brady's Cooper ATPs. Are there any mileage warranties on the Falkens?

50,000
And I would be out the door for less than $730 with road hazard and balance/rotation for life.

I don't see a lot of reviews for those tires on snow and ice. They get good reviews everywhere else.
Re: New tires pretty please!
So after talking to a few different people they have all said that the wear on the falkens is pretty much horrible. And the guy at discount will get me into the same tire Brady has for a cheaper price.....so now it looks like those might be the tire if choice.

I went down to 12 once and they seemed to be fine. The only knock I would put against them is that they're more noisy on the road than I would have thought, but not so loud that it's annoying.

Re: New tires pretty please!
If I hadn't found the Duratracs on sale, I was going to go with the ATPs.
Re: New tires pretty please!
Pick a tire yet? The Hankook ATMs are getting good reviews.

Re: New tires pretty please!
Just a little update, I ended up getting the Cooper ATP in a 265/75/16 and they have been great. Way better traction than my other tires and they fill out the wheel wells much nicer. I've also noticed that I seem to be getting better gas mileage than with my other tires. It seems like the engine and trans hold RPMs/gears better as we'll instead of searching as much as they used too. Maybe it's since I have 4.30's but I dunno. All I know is I'm happy with them.
