Family BBQ

Post by offroad_medic on Mon Oct 14, 2013 10:13 am

So my wife and I were talking and thought it could be fun to get together and have a family BBQ get together at a park before it gets to cold. Would you guys be interested in setting something up?

So in bringing this back up I'm wondering how many of you would be able to make this on a Friday night within the next couple of weeks, or if we waited like three weeks to do it on a Saturday if that would be too cold to be outside much?

I dunno about your kid, but mine has a coat.

I could do next Friday evening, probably.

I was wondering if someone would tell me to put her in a coat. Haha I could possibly do Friday night next week as well.

I was thinking if trying to find somewhere kinda central for people like Riverton or Sandy? Would late afternoon-ish work for people if we did Friday or would a late lunch time on a Saturday be better?

Could we go wheeling after the BBQ on Saturday? I get out of class at 2 on Friday, and if it's after noon then I can wake up to make it on Saturday.

My wife informed me that the next few Fridays are out of the question since she's teaching some class for school. I work the next few Saturdays but what do you guys think about November 9th or 16th? Obviously it depends on weather to a point but I'm also down with trying to find somewhere to wheel as well. There are good parks in Lehi close-ish to snakes. I'm not sure of any wheeling close to slc county though.

I was thinking a park in Sandy or somewhere in that area?
