It's going to be the 10th-15th I believe....somebody correct me if I'm wrong (like usual) but you're more than welcome to make whatever days you can. I won't be there until the afternoon of the 11th due to work. All the details are under the "classics go to Moab" thread here under upcoming trips and that will link you over to the thread on T4R.

We try to get out and rub trails somewhat regularly around here and five mile is a kinda close destination for most of us to wheel.

Whaddaya mean BEFORE the snow hits?  I can't wait for the white stuff to hit Rattlesnake, it's a whole different trail. Smile

After looking at some of last years pictures on here I definitely want to run it in the snow. Especially now that my rockers will have some steel to save them. Now time to dig up some money for rear shocks and tires....

I'm not going to have time to get my front driveshaft lengthened.  It's entirely possible that I shall be flinging front driveshaft all over the trail.

Did you already move your axle forward or what's the deal with it?

I didn't end up moving the axle forward.  But with the crossover steering installed, the front track bar had to go.  With the track bar and crappy stock draglink out of the picture, I just probably came near to doubling my droop in front.  If I'm not careful, I'll be pulling the driveshaft apart every time I flex out.  Smile

How much longer does your driveshaft need to be?

The length is fine, it's the travel that's gonna get me.  I'll probably need a longer slip spline, but I guess I'll find out.

Watch out for "puddles" too...

This was the one time I went with my Jeep buddy, the GoPro was kinda dusted but you can see that this puddle is more like a 3 foot deep pond that ended up flooding his truck (didn't vapor lock though), and that was in his Cherokee with a 4.5" lift and 33s. Luckily I wasn't lead Very Happy

Ow ow ow.  Your buddy was off-trail, man, in a high-traffic and very sensitive area.  The ring of logs and the brown carsonite posts that say "don't drive here" are a clue Smile.

I've spoken to the Forest Service rangers, and they watch this kind of stuff.  Too much of it and they WILL shut those trails down.
