3rd gen IFS stuff
I've got all this IFS stuff that we pulled out a few weeks ago that needs a new home. Let me know if anyone needs any spare parts before it all finds a new home in the dump.

I dunno what shape they're in but depending on my finances I wouldn't mind grabbing a CV from ya.

I was wondering if that was part of the motivation for the swap. Haha

Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
Are the CVs completely trash, Ty, or are they decent enough to wrap in plastic and keep as a trail spare?
I'd be interested in an upper and lower ball joint and one of the inner/outer/sleeve sets of tie rod ends too, assuming they're at all usable in a pinch.

I think one could probably be used as a spare. I will take a look later. I'm going to hit the sack now for a little shut eye.

I know. It's way over rated, but after the long night I had last night and completely dismantling a Dana 44. I think it's time.

Do you still have the front Tacoma struts you were running as a lift and if so what shape are they in?

Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
No struts.
Here is what I have that I can think of.
Calipers
Rotors
Upper and lower control arms
Rack and pinion
I do have one cv axle that is usable. One good boot and one not so good boot
I will last more as I come across it.

Kevin, I didn't see the second half of this post. I will check on the ball joints, but I know that I have one good set (inner/outer) tie rods. In fact they are almost new.
As for the one CV axle, there is nothing wrong with it other than it has one torn boot. All it needs is grease and a boot and it would be good to run. The other is destroyed!!

Cool. If offroad_medic doesn't want it I'll take it. How much do you want for the tie rods and sleeve?
Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
Kevin you can have the CV. If anyone hears anything about some available suspension parts for sale let me know.

Kevin, If you still have those leaf springs I can swap for those. Let me know what you want to do. Or just make me an offer.

Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
Got a perfectly good set of HD rear upper and lower control arms for sale if anyone wants them! the uppers are extended 1" to correct the pinion angle and a lifted 3rd gen. The lowers are just stock but I could HD them very easily if someone is interested. I'm thinking $100 obo $150 if I reinforce the Lowers. No they are not adjustable, but they're not $400 either .

I also have an extended track bar. I will get a pic later. I'm thinking $50 obo!
Definitely open to offers and trades.
I could use a Toyota IFS steering box and a Dana 44 to Toyota driveline flange.

Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
Sorry Kevin I just saw this post. I don't have any rear coils.
I do however have a couple things left that I would like to get out of the way
Rack and pinion $50
Calipers and Rotors $20
Rear cargo cover $10
If anyone is interested let me know.

Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
Did you decide just recently to get rid of rear axle for a matching 44? If it wasn't stripped and ready for leafs I'd be seriously interested.

Re: 3rd gen IFS stuff
I need to get rid of a couple things asap. They go in the trash next weekend.
Calipers, Rotors, and basically new brake pads. Come and get them. Free!
Extended rear track bar $50
Rack and pinion $50
I would hate to throw this stuff away, but I'm sick of tripping over it in my garage and I will never havea need for it with the sas.
