I like the Trailgears, to be honest. 4xInnovations are good too. I wouldn't spend more than $200 on a set of premade sliders.

I really like the look of stuff 4xI makes but haven't seen any in person. Anybody have a welder and want to make me some? Very Happy

My cousin and I built mine. They are plain but I love them. They are built from 2"by 4" square tube. They work nice as sliders (unless the rock his above the slider) and steps.

I have a welder. I'm still learning to use it, but if you want to buy the steel and bring it by I'll be happy to let you learn with me.

I don't have any way to bend tube though.

I'm not horrible at welding and may have access to a tube bender. Do either of you guys have a metal chop saw or access to one?

I have a chop saw I scored at a garage sale last spring, I haven't plugged it in to see if it works yet Very Happy

. I've been using my angle grinder to make my cuts.

The parking lot north of where I-15 hits HWY 92? I can leave by 10 easily, get there around noon probably. Google maps says it's a 2 hour drive. I could leave earlier if you wanted to leave earlier.

I don't know how modified your Runners are, I have a couple inch lift, 31s, and a winch. This is my everyday driver and responsible for my college life and getting me home to Colorado every few weeks. So I can't bang her up very much.

Right now mine is my daily driver that can't get beat up to much. I'm slowly building it up but for now it's mostly stock with a locker. Yeah that cabelas parking lot would be easy, or even the Maceys right off I-15 on Lehi Main Street would be closer. Meeting around 11-12 tomorrow morning would be great with me if you could.

You guys will be fine on Rattlesnake. You can make that trail as easy or as hard as you want. I can think of two places where a low-slung rig without sliders might want to stack a rock or two to get through clean, but I know a guy that took a Grand Vitara to the top. You don't need to worry about breaking your rigs.

Lots of guys use the Chevron at the corner of Redwood and Main in Lehi to meet, it's a good spot for last gas and a soda.

I'm not worried about getting beaten up and like I said earlier, if my stock running boards get beat up then I can have an excuse to get rid of them and get some good sliders cheers

On another note Kevin I looked at those 4xI sliders and they look pretty nice for the price but then shipping is an issue too... scratch

And good call on the chevron, I never thought of that one there.

Yeah we went and it was a good time. Only ended up beating up my drivers side running board a little bit. I only get a few pics but I know Snivilous got some go pro footage.
