Re: Brigham City Wrenching Party
If I can make it I'll be up there Friday afternoon, not sure yet though. Saturday morning is out for me since we're going to look at houses.

Sweet. Let me know. And good luck on the house hunt! The problem is you buy a home and you become like me and have so many honey do's that you have a hard time finding time to wheel and wrench!

This isn't set in stone, but there is a good chance I will be heading up to Brigham City next weekend (July 26th and 27th) to work on the runner. I could use some help if anyone is available.

Ty, I might be able to make it up there. Would your mom mind if my daughter tagged along and played at your parents' house while we worked?

I'm sure that would be fine! They have a huge sand box and swing set, and tons of lawn and toys. I will double check with her but shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know if anyone is interested in helping but I could use as much as I can get.
Brady, are you still going to try to make it up?

This is not set in stone, but I'm thinking of heading back up to Brigham on the 13th and working late that night then until 4 or 5 Saturday afternoon. Let me know if anyone is up for a party! As it gets closer I will verify if its for sure or not.

Re: Brigham City Wrenching Party
I was planning on being in Brigham City for the ExpUt bbq on Saturday anyway, this could work for me. Keep me posted.
Re: Brigham City Wrenching Party
Still planning on this. I'm going to leave Spanish Fork at 6:00 pm (Sorry Kevin 1800) which would put me in Brigham between 8:00 and 8:30 2000-2030! Planning on working late Friday night and again most of Saturday.
I think Kevin mention him and Snivolius finding a camp spot Saturday night and hitting a trail Sunday. I don't know if that is still on for sure.

It's still on. I dunno where exactly or what trails, I'm waiting for him to get back to me on that.
Re: Brigham City Wrenching Party
If this rain keeps up there may not be many trails up there run-able. I know when hardware ranch is wet it gets VERY DIFFICULT, I've never been on Providence Canyon but I can imagine its not easy when wet. You can always head out west again, That salt mud is just LOVELY!!! Other than those I can't think of many trails off the top of my head. I will have to break out The Trail Bible when I get home to give some recommendations.

Never again. That **** was still pancaked on my truck when Luke hauled it off for scrap.Thardy wrote:You can always head out west again, That salt mud is just LOVELY!!!
But yeah, I'm not a huge fan of wheeling in the slop. If it's still raining, I might just take a drive up Inspiration Point and call it a day.
Re: Brigham City Wrenching Party
Pending vacation approval at work, I'm planning on heading up to Brigham City next Wednesday evening and working on the runner late that night, all day Thursday, and all day Friday until 7 or 8 Friday night. If anyone is available any of those days let me know there is plenty of work to do!

Do you have somewhere where we can crash if we decide to stay up there for a couple of days? I'm assuming you'll be staying up there as well?

It depends on how many! We could crash on my parents living room floor, but she teaches preschool so we would just need to make sure we were cleaned up and out of the way when that starts around 8:30clfrnacwby wrote:Do you have somewhere where we can crash if we decide to stay up there for a couple of days? It sounds like my dad is going to be out of town that week. There are a few things I'm not sure how to do with out him, but we are pretty smart guys we can figure it out! We can rock a little INNOVATION!

Actually, I think I have some. Used a little to fix some rusted out metal right underneath my gas tank filler. How much do you need?offroad_medic wrote:You wouldn't happen to have any Bondo up in your workshop would you Ty?

Not too much at all actually. Maybe only a few small putty knife scoops. I've been debating about redoing my grill or not.
